Our builder has had a hard time getting our pool level. We have filled and drained the pool 5 times now and it’s still not to our satisfaction. I have lost confidence that they can get it right. The first pictures are the side they tried to pass off as acceptable. Am I being too picky?

Five times! Wow. I don't know if we have a record high, but that has to be up there. Welcome to TFP!

Hats-off for getting the contractor to support you that much. Well, not sure about your FG pool, my my Viking manual has a 1/2 inch level requirement. You might check your instructions as well. If you're outside of that tolerance, you still have some ground to stand on. If the pool is within that limit, you may have to call it a day and start enjoying the pool as it was intended. :swim: As long as it's not crazy out of level, no one will know but you.

That much our of level, the installer has a responsibility to you to make it right, so if you still have some funds pending, I'd hold them until you are satisfied. Do your best to keep the dialog calm and cool as I suspect the installer is exhausted abou it all as well. Not sure if contacting the manufacture of the pool would help, but you might try that as well if you haven't already. You might gain another perspective that may help.

Most recent images. The pool is 1.75 inches lower at the skimmer. 1 inch is considered standard. Also, you can see the seat is crooked. I feel like we are nagging! $60k I expect it to be right.

If the spec is 1" and you accept the 1.75" and have problems later the manufacturer may blame it on the installation being out of spec. For the money spent there is no way you are nagging by asking the builder to get it right. I am surprised to see that they already poured the decking and the pool isn't leveled yet. I have never seen a fiberglass pool install, but it seems like it should be leveled before adding the concrete around it.

We already made them tear out a section of concrete to correct another issue on the corner. They are just trying to get their money and leave. Pool was put in the hole on June 22nd!!!

That is the scary part of this for us, there doesn't seem to be much of a standard that PBs have to build to. For such a major investment it really needs to be right, but I see some real horror stories of shoddy workmanship
