Hello- I am new to owning a pool. We just built it and have been enjoying it for about 2 months but I'm still trying to figure out all of the workings of the pool. Question on the vacuum. I attached the hose to the vacuum port in my pool wall, turned on the vacuum valve and I have no suction so it does not move. Any thoughts?

You should have a diverter valve that controls the accessory port. It will be on the suction (front side) of the pump. You may have one or more suction valves that control flow from spa, skimmer(s), main drain etc. You'll need to experiment with the suction valves to see what does what. If you want to post photos of the equipment pad, we can take a look.
