Hi everyone!
I’m a brand new member and new pool owner.
We moved into this house in October, so this is our first year with the pool.
It was installed around 15 ish years ago.
The previous owner did not maintain the pool deck/ pavers and many are sinking. He did nothing to keep weeds at bay-the entire area was over grown like a jungle.

In addition, he DIYd repairs with concrete against the coping, instead of replacing pavers.
We were thinking of replacing all the pavers immediately surrounding the pool with concrete (properly done) and then fixing the sinking pavers in the other spots.

DH is flipping out because a landscaping guy just came for a look and won’t touch it.

Now he thinks it’s irreparable and needs to be completely replaced.
We have never had a pool or pavers. We are really worried about the cost.

Any suggestions? I read about foam jacking; would that work here?
Do we need a pool fixer or a hardscape fixer?
Sorry this was so long—here’s some photos to peruse.

Welcome to TFP.

Show us pics of the entire deck and pool.

You know what type of pool it is?

Have you pulled up some pavers to see what the ground is under the sinking areas?

The name of the fixer does not matter. You need someone who has a crew willing to do some heavy labor. What is the access like to the pool area?

Hello!
I don’t know what kind of pool it is. We weren’t given any information about it.
