IC40 Buttons don't respond / can't boost

Hello, all! I have a Pentair IC40 Intellichlor that is under 2 yrs old. It runs consistently on 60%. Pool was getting a little cloudy, and local pool store/dealer recommended "shocking" the pool by running the Intellichlor on the 24 hour (100%) boost mode. When I depress both the "less" and "more" buttons together (as it instructs) nothing happens. As a matter of fact, pressing either button to try to adjust the chlorine output either direction does nothing. I have watched tutorials / consulted the online manual and can't figure out what I am doing wrong.

Can anyone help?
