I am new to the TFP community. I have an inground kidney shaped pool and have had the vinyl liner changed this time 2 years ago.
Hoping I can learn to effectively utilize the Bleach, Borax, and Baking Soda method of good pool chemistry to save some coin.
I have been in this home for 7 years and the first few seasons were wonderful then I started to have some backyard erosion issues and
in the spring my pool opens muddy. Forced to drain a lot of water and refill. I am trying to put some trenches in the back to eliminate the
situation before the fall.

Anyway I am hoping this Forum will be very helpful to me as I educate myself on good pool maintenance.

Happy Spring everyone!

Hello and welcome to the forum! We hope you find all your answer here … and you should. First though, please do the following:
1. Update your signature with all of your pool and equipment info
2. Make sure you have either a TF-100 or Taylor K-2006C test kit and can post some water results.
3. Review the TFP ABCs of Pool Water Chemistry and the other Vital Links you see below in my sig. All of those will help tremendously.

Nice you have you with us.
