So I’m always a bit confused about how, or if I even need to, correct CSI. FG. Today’s test results (logs are viewable):
FC 10.0
CC 0.0
TA 60
CH 275
PH 7.4
CYA 80
Temp 89
Salt 3200
CSI -.62
Could bring CH up a little, or TA, but that doesn’t do much. Could raise PH a little but hate to mess with that, it’s always pretty solid between 7.5 and 7.8. I never have to add MA.
I see conflicting info which says CSI should be either higher than -.6 or higher than -.3.
How should I adjust for CSI or should I even bother?

Do you have water line tile with cement based grout?

Then low CSI is of no consequence to you. Keep pH in the 7's. Your SWCG is best if the CSI is kept below 0.

Great, thank you much. I’ll stop worrying.

I ran your numbers on my spin wheel and got a CSI of -.20. Could be I made a mistake, but I don’t think so.
Idk this is what I see:

If you use the old web version of PoolMath on your computer you can tweak the numbers and see the results easily.
