How to introduce the BBB chemicals into a Pool

If I wanted to switch to the BBB method next year, how often can I expect to have to add more bleach, on average?

If you are manually adding bleach, you usually need to add more once a day.

Unless you have an opaque-to-UV pool cover in which case you can add chlorine about once every 3-4 days. That's my situation. But Jason is right that most people using a fast dissolving or diluting source of chlorine need to add it every day if the pool is exposed to sunlight. Some exceptions are those who run their pools with high CYA (60-80 ppm) but then have high FC levels to compensate (or use an algaecide).
