How often to test CYA?

I bought a Taylor test kit and quickly used up the CYA reagent. I assume I should run that particular test less frequently than others—based on your experience with the rate of CYA change, how often do you recommend running that test?

I test for it every few weeks

At the beginning of the season, you will need enough reagent so that you can test several times as you can get your CYA up to speed for the year. After that, about once a month should be fine...

[Oly]

16oz bottles of CYA reagent can be purchased for not much $ and it has a long shelf life. Test as often as you need. I test more in the spring and one a month or less in summer, fall and winter.
