Title says it all, I usually can see an improvement in the clarity of the waste water leaving the exit pipe after a few minutes of backflush after a cleaning cycle but I'm not sure how long to run the filter on rinse before setting it back to filtration. Thanks in advance.

Rinse is usually about 45 sec to a minute. You might also watch for clear water though the site glass on the MPV or out of the waste line.
