Painted our pool last week and while it was empty had an electrician replace the light (that’s never worked), install a timer, and move some switches to a more convenient location.
Refilled the pool with water today. Getting excited as dark approaches at the thought of the light finally working (only took 11 years). About to turn it on and I’m thinking maybe we draw straws to pick who goes in first? But as luck would have it, I like my husband, my kid, and my dog.
Seeing as I’m not willing to take one for the team, how do I KNOW the pool is electrically safe to swim in? I have no reason not to trust the electrician, but mistakes happen.
