Low point return which makes me think there's a crack in the pipe

To add insult to this, I paid $12k to have the cracks/leak fixed and a re-plaster job at the end of '18, beginning of '19. I will never deal with that pool company again, so gonna go with the only Master Pool Builder's Guild member in Tulsa: Fiesta Pools. It's gonna hurt. Oh well, YOLO right?

Draining it below the returns is part of winterizing. But so is blowing out the lines and plugging the returns. Did you have it winterized?
I do all my own maintenance. I did not drain it. It's definitely a leak. I knew I had a leak cause I was constantly having to add more salt/chemicals during last season. Didn't realize it was this bad.

My pump is on a freeze protection dohicky so it'll start circulating when it gets to ~36 degrees

Are there only the 2 cracks you posted pics of?

Are they in the location where the cracks were before and repaired?

Were the repaired cracks just in plaster or in the gunite?

How were the cracks repaired?

Only 2 big ones that I saw so far. Yes, same area as last time. Plaster was stripped. I found the quote from the PC. Seemed like highway robbery. Plus they wouldn't warranty any of the work <rolleyes>
  • Install torque lock crack suppression system for the 2’ section of larger crack.
  • Install membrane C crack transfer system on additional smaller crack.
    • Total labor and materials: $2,100.00

Membranes are use on tile floors to prevent cracking. I don’t know about it’s use on a gunite pool crack.

@bdavis466 what do you think?
