Hello,
New here and am in need of some help!!! I didn't think where we lived has a high water table as none of the homes have sump pumps.. Long story short. we bought a 36x18 "Mountain Lake" style pool with frame and liner to fit. The Excavators started to dig and at 6' they struck water!! AND Sand! quicksand!!.. they were able to pump out most of the water and keep digging, but the water just keeps trickling in from below ground. Last night the in the pit there was a small amount of water but my sump pump failed "probably from the sand/mud" and this morning there is LOTS of water.. aside from the fact the beach sand is not able to be sloped or moulded to form how are we supose to keep the water away? .. a permenant sump pump out side? weeping tile around the base of the pool? I'm struggling for ideas.. Please help!
1st pic is before the failure of the pump. 2nd is what I found this morning
