High TA, Low-Normal pH, Cloudy pool

Hi -
Our fiberglass chlorine-based pool was installed last year, and filled with tap water. The TA has been high since we filled it (mostly 120-140 range), although pH had been stable around 7.2.

I just opened the pool this week for the spring. TC has been at shock level (10-12) for a full 3 days and the pool is still cloudy. CYA is 30. Tested everything yesterday, pH 7.2, TA 130. Do I just need more time for the pool to clear, or is the high TA causing a problem?
Also, do I need to worry about high TA in general? My pH is never high. Our water is pretty hard. We swim in the pool non-stop in the summer so it gets plenty of aeration. Just not sure how else I could lower it.
Thanks!

Welcome to the forum!
If your pH and TA are happy together, and you have no other issues like scale, then let it be. It is odd that your pH will stay at that level with that TA, but so be it.
I suggest you read ABC's of Pool Water Chemistry.
