Hi from the central Gulf coast of Florida. Just into my second year of life here and my first pool. I've learned a lot in the past year - buy a good test kit, summer rains really mess with chemistry, if you get swimmers ear in January natives will question your sanity, and more. Thanks to this site I follow the bleach, baking soda & muriatic acid plan and replaced a cheap kit with a Taylor K-2006. Decided I should finally join.

We could however we stop in December and start back in March or April. We like to use the solar as a primary heart source and use the heat pump as backup.
