Ok guys I need a little help here with something. So we have a new pump installed which is a Jandy VS Proflo 1.85. It has two auxiliary relays and I’m a little confused about how I need to go about connect our Jandy Truclear salt chlorinator to it. I know that the wiring from the Truclear will need to go into the load side of the aux relay but the question I have is, do I need to run a new circuit from my breaker box to the line side or can I just jump and wire form the main pump connecting to the line side? Thanks in advance for any help with this.

S,

Tell us if your Truclear is set up to run off of 240 or 120 volts. How is it currently wired?

I assume your pump has a 240 volt GFCI breaker.. If you try to steal 120 volts from the pump, for the cell, it will pop the breaker unless the neutral is wired back to the breaker.

You should not need a new breaker, but we don't have enough info to tell you how to wire it..

Show us some pics or provide more info and I am sure we can get you pointed in the right direction.

Thanks,

Jim R.

S,

No problem..

Just jumper L1 to Aux 1 Line 1 and L2 to Aux 1 Line 2

Then connect Aux 1 Load 1 to L1 on the Trueclear, and Aux 1 Load 2 to L2 on the Trueclear.

The pic really helped with this one..

Thanks,

Jim R.

Hello I have a similar question. Just bought house with pool. Have a pentair variable speed 240v pump, and truclear jandy clorinator setup for 240v. Pump is on circuit 1 and clorinator is on circuit 3. Circuit 2 is led light. I'm not getting 240 on circuit 3 it seems and confused on what to do. See pics. How can I get clorinator to power up.
