Clear water but quite green. Main pump was broken for almost 30 days, and we've had tons of organics in Dallas. Putting on house on market in one week, and need pool to be blue for pictures in 6 days!!!

Advice from local pool store was to rent a sump pump and drain top layer. Said high chlorine can cause chlorine to attach to other chlorine instead of algae. Never heard of this. Thoughts on what to do now?
