Help, pool installer said holes normal?

Hello, we just got a new unground pool.. I noticed these holes in the liner at the corners and a couple places where the coping is. They’re all the way through the liner.

I asked the installer about it and he said this is normal and happens with all pools during install .. is this true? Will these not weaken them liner over time? This worries me a bit.

I'm pretty sure it's "normal" to bad installers or those who don't take pride in doing things correctly.

I suggest you have a look through Pool Care Basics and maybe the TFP videos.
