Help needed in grand prairie.

Ok. I was def thinking about the stir stick. I just dont want to buy the wrong one. I was about ready to just tear my pool down when i found this site. Ive been trying to take care of my pool with zero knowledge and a leslies pool supply store for help. So its been expensive and not really worth it. Glad i found you guys.

I was in the same boat when we first got the house! The pool store *helped* me ruin the first pool! I HATED it and was glad it was gone when it went!!! HA joke was on me!!! Hubby wanted a new pool and when challenged to find a way to care for the pool withOUT the pool store he found TFP  Look at me now..............a MOD on a pool forum who loves her pool!!! LOL

They helped me run thru about 10 grand all together. So now im trying to forget all that they told me and start fresh. If i was to post pics of my pool stuff could you guys help me identify it and build a signature? Just ordered the liner. My stomach is in knots lol.

I assume its the EW receiver. It had a j-hook liner in before i think held in with liner lock but it kept slipping out. Probably because i kept having to drain the pool. I posted pics in another thread. ill see if i can link them or something over here.

Here is my pump and filter. I think I need to replumb it. And i for sure need to re seal my skimmer.

You have a sand filter. That is very important to know. Add that to your siggy.

Look on your pump to find the hp. Is it a one or two speed?

I do notice there are no unions on your pipes. Are there any valves closer to the pool? There are VERY helpful in maintaining the equipment and pool down the road. Once we know about the valves we can come up with a plan to fix that stuff up to make your pool life even easier!
