Hi everybody,

I am in Phoenix, Arizona area and I am here basically because I've had enough of pool companies: horrible service, ridiculous prices. I am living in a house with a pool for almost a year now and never had enough time to figure out how to service my own pool. If pool service companies were decent, I would have continued paying, but the last pool guy simply stopped showing up or answering phone or messages after I "dared" to question 30% price increase, which he justified by increased cost of chlorine, except I am the one buying and providing the chlorine for my pool.
So, TF-Pro arrived a few days ago and I am going to try doing it myself.

It would be a good time now to read up on Pool Care Basics
Glad you have the recommended test kit.

It would also be helpful to update your signature by going to Settings (on the left) and under Signature - add info such as pool volume, fiberglass, plaster or vinyl pool, make and model of pump, filter, heater, etc.
This will help when you ask a question that the pool info is readily available
