Hello, new home has a pool and starting from zero

Hey, my name is Ricky and my girlfriend and I just purchased a home in San Antonio.

It is both of our first pool, so we are starting from scratch. The previous owner left some chemicals, but I have a lot to learn.

Working the pump (has built in spa) to maintaining the water and hardware are my goals.

Hey Ricky (and girlfriend) and welcome! Nice to see another local on-board. At some point, please update your signature with all your pool and equipment info. Tell us how you plan to chlorinate the pool and we can assist as needed. Make sure to read our ABCs of Pool Water Chemistry use read/save those Vital Links below in my sig. After of course, make sure you have a TF-100 (link below) or Taylor K-2006 test kit. Great water starts with accurate home testing. Enjoy this awesome evening.

Hey thanks, no idea how I plan to chlorinate yet. I will be taking pics of everything, setting up inventory, and picking up anything I'm missing this weekend.

No need to stock up on any chemicals except liquid chlorine/bleach. Any other purchases can wait until after you do water testing. Let us know what you have and we can advise on what you might need.
Make sure to get that test kit on order.
