HI all. I heard about this site from a friend at work. We are new pool owners. I know enough to be dangerous. Excited to learn from this group. I have an 11,000 gallon pool, pebble tech finish, in floor cleaning. Currently we are struggling with high solids and CYA. I plan to do the RO filtration on my pool as we are trying to conserve water here in the desert. Does anyone have experience with that filtration? Recommendations of a reputable company?

Thank you,

Welcome to TFP! Let's see if any other Vegas Valley members have RO experience. Feel free to post back as much as needed.

How are you testing your water? Hint...pool store tests are unreliable.

Before investing several hundred dollars into RO, you should get an accurate set of test results. Invest in a TFP recommended test kit. You'll want a good set of test results before and after RO testing. If you stop using solid forms of chlorine and use a water softener for top offs, you may not have to worry about RO in the future.

RO in my area runs about $700.

Good luck!
