6 months in a new (to us) house. It came with a 30,000k pool and spa. It's all Hayward and has the little aqua pod V2 remote (when I got here the battery was shot) so I replaced that. Just made the jump to salt water with a Hayward T-15 cell and controller although as it turns out the main controller can do salt control directly to the cell.
When I got the house the pool was green, I didn't know I had 2 bottom drains for a week and a half. Took a while to shock the pool but once the chlorine reached a critical level the algae turned from green to white. Took some flocculant and many backwashes to get the poo clear but now it is and stays pretty clear.
I found this site doing a search for bubbles coming off the salt generator and saw the community not taking pot shots at each other and thought this looks like a good place to join up and learn and share.
So that's my story!
