Heat Pump Temperature

Have an AquaCal T115 heat pump. Did not run it during summer months. Getting ready to run it, but noticed the temperature on the display panel is about 10 degrees cooler than temperature on pool thermometer. Does this present an issue I need to consider before running the heat pump? Thanks.

I thought as much, but also thought I should check with those who know more about these sort of things than I do. Would you happen to know what the level of difficulty is to replace? Is it a DIY project, or do I need to have a technician do it? Again, many thanks for your help.

It should look like this.

One end goes into the thermostat well and the other end connects to the power board.

I think that this is the well.

Remove the rubber cap and take out the sensor.

The sensor should just pull out.

Don't remove the well.
