Im fairly new to this automation system. I just updated my aqualogic to a prologic with a PS8 display.
Most likely in a few years ill update it again to a better/smarter automation system. But for now the prologic is leaps and bounds ahead of my old aqualogic.
My question is about valve actuator controls. Currently i have 2 actuator controlled valves.
One is used to switch the suction between the skimmer and pool bottom. I will keep this one and have it on a timer so during the day it will use both for a while.
The other actuator valve is kind of useless. It switches between a waterfall feature and the in-ground 8 port caretaker99 system. I always keep it on the caretaker99 system.
The pool an spa are currently standalone and separate. They are not connected in any way except for the spill over from spa to pool through the caretaker99.
There is one heater. The heater currently is only plumbed to the spa. I want to change this. I would like to add the pool line to the heater as well. Just to have the option to heat the pool directly.
I have a 2 pump single heater system. But with automated valves depending on which heater button is selected.
Can the prologic do this?
This will require some move valves. I count 3 valves. I would like to have them all on the automatic actuator valves (GVA-24). What is the maximum number of valves the prologic can control?
I would like to do it similar to the attached schematic. I just dont know if the prologic can automate the valves with a push of the button, while still keeping my current suction valve automated.
