Hayward Aqua Bug - Pump Cavitation/Flow

Hey all,

I have a Hayward Aqua Bug pool cleaner, Every time I hook it up, My pump cavitates, it still has flow and doesn't cavitate dry, but it is starving the pump. The hoses all jump. I am sure it's because the orifice on the Aquabug is 1" Maybe, and then it goes threw a 1-1/4? hose, into a rubber cone which goes down to 1" maybe, so I'm sure that is causing restriction to be able to flow a the needed rate.

The question is, is there anything I can do about it?

Mine does the same does the pump prime back up after you unhook it?

So I took the little throat thing out of the bottom of the Bug and BAM! Problem Solved!
