Hey everyone!
So the union to the salt cell made a crack and started leaking water. I bought the proper replacement Unions that fit.
The problem I'm facing at the moment is I don't know how to get the old one off... It won't budge at all. I was wondering if anyone here know how to replace something like this?
Is there some adhesive remover I have to get and put it on there to remove?

Sorry digie..... there is no easy way about yours. You need to cut back to where you have 2 inches of clean pipe, and start from there replacing anything between the two points. At that point you might as well change the setup to allow future repairs without having to replace good parts like now.

Some people have gotten lucky using a heat gun (being careful not to melt the PVC), but it's not likely to work.

Maybe a split nut will work.

@JamesW, now that you're here, you'd really be the one to ask anyway. Would they have the most likely proprietary union available in split nut ?

Dang... Looks like no easy fix. Okay thanks for your input!! Will have to figure something out.
What's the best tool to cut pipe like this? Also what adhesive to apply to attach the other one?

The union nut yes. I had a plumber come by and he said we have to out that middle chunk and re pipe that area since everything is stuck together. Had to purchase the jandy 3 way pipe unit along with union. Will have plumber replace and reconnect those parts.

Fix update**

So we had the union but needed to buy the Jandy valve switch part. Hired a plumber to connect all the pieces together. It wasn't a smooth plug in and play. He needed to saw out parts of the Jandy valve to fit the union and also take out parts of the side pipes to re pipe everything properly. Becareful when you're handling those Salt cells when you take it out to wash. Here's the finished picture so you can see how much needed to be taken out.
