Do I need to be concerned if the gunite took longer than planned. They shot all day and didn't finish so had to come back to complete it a couple of days later. They didn't plan ahead to take multiple days so no joints planned for? I work in commercial contruction and know that we have a cold joint in between separate pours but not sure how that works with gunite?

No worries. This happens quite often and is no big deal! Rest easy until it is done!
