Getting ready for the pool season

So I got my kit ready (see signature) and will be installing a new valve this weekend onto the pool filter, as the old one was hopelessly broken last season.

1. What are the current prices of bleach that I should be looking for in grocery stores/supermarkets in the northeast USA?
2. Any other chemicals I need to stock up on?

It's not particularly close to where I live, but I went on their site and I can't even find any bleach for sale.
