I opened our pool on Sunday, it was the worst green swamp it's ever been. I put three bags of shock and the next day it was a foamy mess. I'm not a big numbers person, but according to the strip I use, everything is good, except calcium hardness is low. I added no algaecide. This is only from shock. The pool store seems to think I have an air leak. Could this be the case. The foam is getting better--slowly. Here are some pics. First one is right after taking off cover Sunday and last one today.

Not unusual to see that when algae is dying. Check out the pictures in A little encouragement for those with algae and new to BBB
