Opened the pool on the 14th. The water was green and full of debri.

Cleaned all the debri, leaves etc out of the pool and started the chlorinator at Max setting. I also added a gallon of liquid chlorine each day for 4 days. I also treated the pool with 4 bags of shock on the evening of the 17th. I added a pool clarifier tablet into one of the skimmers on the 18th.

Today 5/20/22, the pool looks great and is currently 88 degrees.

I purchased a TF-100 test kit and used it for the first time this morning.

Here are my results:
Chlorine 5
PH 6.8
FC 4
CC 1.5
TC 5.5
Calcium Hardness 425 ppm
TA 200
CYA 90

Any recommendations for weekly upkeep or necessary additions would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome to TFP! Let's get right to your numbers:
- Bring pH up to at least 7.2
- Previous algae, and elevated CC )over 0.5, indicates you still have algae and need to start the SLAM Process.
- Your CYA is on the high end. If you look at the FC/CYA Chart, you'll see it requires a high FC level during the SLAM to compensate. You have the option of maintaining that corresponding FC to a CYA of 90, or exchanging some water to lower the CYA to perhaps about 40 or 50. If you decide to exchange water, do that first then re-test all your levels
- After completing the SLAM Process we can talk more about the TA and CH.

Please update your signature. See mine as an example. It will be important with replies and advice. If you are on a well, list that as also. If you have any questions let us know
