Been reading threads on here for months and appreciate the insight from everyone. I am on my 2nd pool home and this one is killing me. ( not literally ) Last pool was caged and only got a little debris in it from wind under the door. New pool is wide open to the world and every leaf, twig, branch around the house gets in the pool. Spend more time cleaning that I do enjoy the pool. Pool is 35ft long 18 wide. Salt and just installed 3hp VS pump. I have no trees in the yard now but surrounded by trees. Can not put in a cage due to set back rules in the area and where the pool was build in the early to late 70's. Have had a MX6 for 3 years replaced the hose 2 times and have had it with the way this does not clean the pool. I have been looking for a robot for months now and reading every little article I can find. Every one has something different obviously but what I want it to do is clean the bottom and the water line. Not too much to ask but every one I look at does one or the other or both if you spend $1000.00. Worried about spending that money and it only having a 2 year warranty. Don't really want to plug one in but the cordless have so many mixed reviews not sure what to trust. It needs to be able to be cleaned easy, top load basket preferred something light enough for mother in law to pull from pool if I am not home. Something that can stand to be in the pool for a couple days and not break. This time of the year I run the cleaner every day to keep the leaves out. I talked to Marina Pools and was recommended the Aquaproducts Evo614iq. I have a problem with looking for reviews on products before I purchase and there are not many on it so again concerned spending that money on something only to last a year or 2 and then cost me just as much to repair as purchase price. Maybe I am reading into this too much. I don't mind spending money on thigs that work and last. I am not going to waste money on something just because someone says its good. I want facts, actual user testimony but seems everything out there is new and only out for a couple months. Looking for suggestions on something that is going to last. Is there anything out there that has been around for a couple years and still able to be purchased? HELP! HA HA any advise, recommendation or anything to point me in a direction would be great. Thank you! Sorry to ramble just so many things going on in my head around this I don't know if any of this makes sense.... Also my wife is going to hurt me if I read another post or watch a video on a pool cleaner without actually purchasing one...............
