Ok so we are in the process of switching over to Chlorine due to my boys getting rashes.

Its a 'lovely' mess and kind of wish we would have just pumped it all out and started fresh.

Anyway, I have read to backwash several times per day to get rid of the "goo". Should I use the Baquacil cleaner each time I backwash?

Also, I thought you were suppose to super shock the system. Pool store is having me add 1 gallon of liquid chlorine and 1 lb of shock. Also, added 1 lb of Oxidizer that is making it look great with the 'goo' on top! With those who have been down this road what would you recommend?

Pool Store tested Water.
