Fiberglass install happening now!

The concrete is done. They are supposed to come out today and clean all the debris and start up the pool. The rest of the grading/drainage should be done by the end of the week.

They came out Wednesday and cleaned the large debris out. Today they added all the chemicals and left a vacuum going for the clay in the pool. I’ll let them do their 2 weeks then I will maintain it using the TFP method. Got my test kit ready to go!

I am so jealous. My fiberglass pool went in on August 1st and they still have not poured my concrete. I'm beyond frustrated with my builder right now :( But I'm at his mercy unless I want to pay significantly more for someone else to do it.

Overall I'm happy with the builder. I think the communication was lacking but after reading more builds here I guess mine wasn't too bad. They charged me more for the concrete than was originally talked about. They also made us pay cash for that and the pump upgrade.

We finally had the irrigation in the back repaired. Now waiting on the landscaper to finish the final grading, put in the fence, sod and hedges. The hedges wont get delivered till Tuesday but I am looking forward to finally being done with construction!

Finally getting the landscaping in! The emerald green arborvitaes were planted Friday and sod went down yesterday. We still need to put river rock down under the shrubs and the fence should go in Friday. Finally on the home stretch!

They left me with a cheap valve and hose to drain the pool when needed. We had a really wet winter and I found myself in the rain rolling up the hose quite a bit. I rigged this up to drain down the side yard behind the bushes over the weekend.
