FC in low-circulation areas

Hey guys, just coming off a SLAM and trying to make sure I don't have the same problem again. I discovered (the hard way) I have a few low-circulation areas in my spa that I wasn't brushing enough. That's where my algae originated.

Today I was testing the FC from my normal spot at the deep end approx 2 ft deep and it tested at 11.

On a whim, I decided to go test the FC at the exact low-circulation spot where I found algae last week. It came back at 9. This spot is in the spa and is shallower than where I normally test, only about 10 inches.

SO...is it normal for FC to be that different in same pool if circulation is low? Was my second reading skewed because it wasn't deep enough?

If it is normal, do I need to readjust my FC target up to account for those low-circulation areas?

If you do not have adequate circulation, then of course the FC is going to be lower in places, especially at the surface where the sun can more readily break it down.

That, or alternatively see if you can get better circulation, and/or brush more often

Ours doesnt circulate well either. I now do most of my FC testing at the worst spot.
We try to use robot on the days we don't swim too.
