CYA is about 200 ppm and FC is about 20 ppm. I plan to drain the pool this fall and put in fresh water. Trichlor tabs are great, but I found out the hard way that 1. You can't trust cheap test strips and 2. CYA is not easy to get rid of.
Yeah I agree with the Gate. I would at the minimum do a partial drain to get that CYA down. The amount of FC needed to keep that pool properly sanitized would not be cost effective.
