I have read that when balancing FC vs CYA that your FAS-DPD FC reading is not the FC that is actually available for sanitation and that bathers actually see. I assume that this is the reason that SLAM FC is pushed up so high. Is there a formula to figure out the actual FC available for sanitation at both target and SLAM FAS-DPD FC readings? I have always been very good at both science and math! Also is there a minimum actual available FC to complete removing algae?
