Liquid Chlorine
Greetings All,

I have been using Pool Essentials Liquid Chlorine (10% Sodium Hypochlorite, 90% "Other Ingredients") and recently came into a good supply of Blue Shield 'Pool Shock' (12.5% Sodium Hypochlorite, 87.5% "Other Ingredients"). Strength aside, any issues in converting over to the Blue Shield? Both are unstabilized.

What the "Other Ingredients" are is not stated and I cannot find an MSDS on either.

Thanks,

Skip

We tend to stay away from anything labeled BLUE, because it might contain copper. If you cant find an MSDS i dont think anybody might be able to say 100% sure its just bleach.

I doubt the Blue Shield has any copper. Never have heard of any liquid pool chlorine having copper.

Other ingredients is water.
