Dye or paint for vinyl liner?

My Bestway vinyl liner is faded, and I hate the checkered design on it anyway. Is there a dye you can add to the water or a paint that will stick to vinyl I could use to paint it dark blue?

sorry.. I've never heard of any. How old is your liner- can it just be replaced?

It's 3 years old this year, and it's 14x48, which no one carries. I'd have to do an overlap liner, since it's a post and rail Bestway pool.

I've been reading, looks like epoxy and acrylic paints play well with vinyl, at least the manufacturers say it does.

AGPs are starting to come down in price -- maybe I'll just replace it when it gets too ratty looking.

Water, water current,slippery vinyl, chemicals....all reasons why I would think paint would be a bad idea.

We had a guy once whose paint dissolved into the pool water. What a mess.
