dual speed pump and controller problem

I have the hayward dual speed super pump and the electrician hooked it up the the intermatic P1353ME digital mechanism. When selecting circuit 1 button the pump runs in high speed. When selecting circuit 2 button it seems like it switches the pump to low speed but only for about 10 seconds and then pumps stops. I need to reset everything and then I can get in running in high speed again. Basically I can't get it to stay in low speed. Has anyone had this problem before or have any ideas on the problem?

Sounds like it may be a wiring issue.
It should be hooked up like this.

If you don't have a booster pump just omit that wiring.
