Dolphin Triton PS Plus picking up leaves

I have had this unit about 10 months and been very happy with it. Previous cleaner Polaris 280. My pool is under 2 oak trees so this year I covered the pool to keep the leaves out and ran the Dolphin every day each week to keep it scrubbed. The problem is it now only picks up enough leaves to clog the intake and does not fill the bag.
Maytronics help is, well, my mother thought me to be be quiet when I had nothing good to say.
Ideas? I have attached a pic of the basket after running a week and you can see the pool has leaves in it.

Jack,

The Dolphin was not really made to suck up all the leaves out of an entire forest...

I suggest that you remove the little bag around the input on the first or second pass..

Great idea. works... I no longer just take things apart like I used to... didn't know it came off.. easy and sucking up leaves. Will re install after the bulk of the forest is picked up..Thanks!!~!
