Does your slide get too hot in the summer?

We live in St. George Utah where the summers are hot and we want to buy a slide. We are probably going with the S.R. Smith Typhoon or Turbo Twister but need to decide between the sandstone or gray. If you have either color can you weigh in on if your slide heats up on the desert sun? Thanks!

I don't own a slide, but I thought all pool slides had water pumped down them to help reduce friction of the slider. If you let that run a few minutes before you slide, it should be cool enough with the running water. If it's the steps or the frame you are talking about, then I'm sure they can get pretty hot!! Hopefully someone will chime in...
