Dead Spiders

All of a sudden within the last week I am finding dead spiders on the bottom of the pool. I don't mind having no live spiders in the pool except I normally have several a day that I escort to the skimmer and I can't help but wonder what has changed. The only change that I can put my finger on is that the water temp (high 80s) is warmer than normal, however, I don't think it is any warmer than it was last year at this time. Any thoughts?

I had no idea that i felt the exact same way until you said this. :)

I get some occasionally under the coping/ledge, especially in the corners. No idea what to do for them though.

I don’t think anything changed. Most spiders seek out dark and damp homes. Whether it’s under the coping ledge or in the skimmer a pool is perfect for them. Tons of mosquitoes and beetles to catch. (Or insert your local pests)

I think you are missing my point. For the last year and a half I have had live spiders in the pool, which I have forced into the skimmer on a daily basis to get rid of them and all of a sudden within the last week all the spiders that enter the pool are being found dead on the bottom. Something has had to change.
