Dead opposum/racoon

In the process if bringing the chlorine level up. Last night forgot to close the pool cover... This morning I saw a dead animal in the pool.. Looks like a baby opposum or a racoon. What should I do? Continue slam?

That would be a baby opossum. I took an adult out earlier in the year. I just brought the pool up to SLAM for 24 hours and called it a day.

Being dead in the pool for a night probably will do nothing to your balance personally I'd ignore it. I find small animals in my pool every week or so. Then again i don't run at minimum chlorine levels.
