Yes I pulled the basket out for the picture. I saw those winterization plugs when googling but it looks like it would stick up some and prevent the basket from going back in place.

It seems like they were be an actual plug for unused holes. I'm not the original owner so I don't know if the lid is original but I can look in it for numbers.

That outlet is for an equalizer line or suction port. It shows a "Pipe Plug" in the unused hole.
