OK, just for kicks, I took a water sample to the pool store today. Everything was about where I expected it with the exception of the CYA (the pool store uses one of these http://www.lamotte.com/pool_spa_water/p ... s_lab.html which I thought was supposed to be 'fairly' accurate.
Anyway, the pool store says CYA is 20. Knowing I added 1.8kg of CYA since the season started, I found this questionable. Came home and tested with the K2006 and got somewhere between 50 and 60 (ran the test twice to make sure).
Yet another reason to have your own comprehensive test kit.
