It depends on what you're trying to do. If adding CYA is all you're wanting to do then that's not what you want. Stabilizer or conditioner is what you want. The ingredients will be 96% cyanuric acid or more.
As long as it's 95% or better cyanuric acid it's fine to use. Most big box stores will sell it. Also most pool stores have it. The last I bought was from Ace hardware.
They change brands from time to time and different locations have different brands so If I told you it was HTH it may be Aqua-Chem at your store. The brand really doesn't matter.
I am in Virginia and the store around here carry it in the Outside Lawn and Garden area with the pool chemicals. It will say "Stabilizer" right on the bottle. Just make sure the ingredients are CYA.
