Super new pool owners; we did not read far enough to realize we needed to add CYA along with our initial salt add for the SWG. Swam for 3 days; pool was turning green on Tues AM. I took a sample to the pool store while waiting on my test kit to come, FC was 0.2 so we started with SLAM to get the water clear. We have passed the OCLT, FC is 14, and CYA is officially 0 after my Taylor K-2006 arrived.

We have the CYA to add to the pool, but my question is this: do we need to wait for the FC to fall before adding CYA? Or just start adding it now and leave the SWG off until FC falls to a certain level?
