Am I correct in thinking that my vinyl pool doesn’t need calcium added? Right now it is 25 due to new fill water and my CSI is -1.43. Do I need to worry about CSI? I do have a SWG. Thanks!

You are correct. No plaster products in liners. Your main concern is a low pH that could potentially lead to corrosion around the pool or equipment. A pH of 7.2 is fine for a while, but if it climbs to the mid 7 range that would be ideal season-long.

Ok thank you! I’m yes I’m working on getting it up, went from 6.7 yesterday to 7.2 today!
