Most websites mention river rock and brownstone for around an above ground pool. The wife likes crushed bluestone. Yes, we know it may not be as easy on bare feet, but is there any reason not to use this? Thanks!

I do not see any reason not too, do what you want... It may make it harder to walk on or gets weeds out but who cares if you like it... That is why we have pools
