My coping is a 3 inch thick x 9 inch long and my pool gunite beam is a 12 inch long. I have a 3 inches of beam exposed? Will I be safe to pour concrete over the beam? I have the 3 inch foam m.r meadows deckoseal expansion joint going behind my coping. I been reading a lot of people chip the beam out. I don’t really want to do that to my pool. Thanks

Coping being shorter than beam?
Hello I have a question about the coping being shorter than my pool beam. Coping is 9 inch long x 3 inch thick and gunite beam is 12 inch long, and I’m going to pour the concrete deck. Will there be any problems there?
